Press Release: Rick Gant announced as new CEO of Boomerswork.com

HALIFAX, NS. – Boomerswork.com, a unique employment staffing firm who matches experienced professionals with flexible work assignments, has announced Rick Gant as their new CEO.  Gant will take over from former CEO Rick Emberley.

Prior to working with Boomerswork.com, Rick worked in RBC’s Halifax branch as Director of Atlantic Canada before retiring in 2015.

“Rick is the perfect man to be leading our company at this very exciting time. As more and more boomers are retiring, it only makes sense that we have a CEO who knows the challenges of facing retirement, but wanting to stay involved,” said Emberley.

Gant’s first major undertaking as CEO is launching Boomerswork.com’s “Wisdom Never Retires” marketing campaign throughout Atlantic Canada. The aim of the campaign is to increase Boomerswork.com’s database of experienced professionals who are looking for flexible work, as well as advertise to companies that might benefit from Boomerswork.com’s services.

About Rick Gant

Gant moved to Moncton, NB as a teen and graduated from Mount Allison University in 1984 with a degree in Geology before receiving his MBA from Dalhousie University. He started his career in Bay Street before joining RBC where he worked for 26 years. He served as Director of Atlantic Canada at RBC’s Halifax branch before retiring in 2015. Gant currently sits on the Alumni Board of Directors at Mount Allison University and acts as an Advisor and Mentor in Dalhousie’s Startup Lean program.
