Heather THALIFAX, NS. – Rick Gant, CEO of Boomerswork.com, is pleased to announce the appointment of Heather Tedford as VP Business Development for Prince Edward Island.

Tedford describes herself as a poster child for the unique staffing firm, which matches experienced professionals with part-time or contract work.

An Islander by choice, Tedford has enjoyed an extensive career in the sales and marketing field.  She recently retired from TC Media PEI as Director of Sales and Marketing for The Guardian and Journal Pioneer and Publisher of G! Magazine.

Active in the community, Tedford has worked with numerous non-profit organizations.  She is currently a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Hillsborough, an advisor and mentor to the CEO, staff and event committees of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of PEI and a member of 100 Women Who Care.
