We all like to get away every once in a while. It’s exciting to see some new places, or explore cultures unknown to you, or to just find a nice, warm climate where you can put your feet up and relax for a week or two. Yes, vacation is wonderful. And pricy. Of course we’d anyone would want to have the luxury of taking a trip at least once a year to get away from it all, but few of us can realistically afford that. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you could find an affordable alternative to the expensive, tourist hotspots of the world?
Money.com has done the research for us and has a fantastic list of vacation spots that won’t cost you an arm and a leg to visit. They have found reasonably priced alternatives to popular getaway location that are not only cheaper but, they argue, are also fundamentally better than their pricy counterparts. Why spend your money on London, when you can visit Dublin for a fraction of the price? Why go to Los Cabos when you can get more enjoyment and savings from La Paz, Mexico? Skip Bangkok. Try Hanoi instead. There’s countless amazing and lesser known destinations that don’t come with such a hefty price tag.
